Laser Floyd

Brain will be joining some sick musicians to perform a Pink Floyd show at U of L’s Rauch Planetarium that will freak your mind. Dark Side of the Moon will be performed live in its entirety with laser light show accompaniment. Then, you’ll get flown through the universe using the planetarium’s stunning new technology with even more live Floyd as the backdrop. Get tickets to this show!! Seating is extremely limited, so don’t count on getting in at the door. For more info and ticketing, click here.

The Pass – Colors Music Video

One of Brain’s projects The Pass recently released a sweet video for their song “Colors,” off the EP of the same name. It was directed by Zach Hart and can be viewed here.

Blog Love

My recently released EP Tomorrow is the Destroyer found some attention this week on the blogs Paper Pistol and Boom Boom Chik. The Louisville Eccentric Observer also reviewed the album in this week’s issue. Bit of an odd one there. Can’t tell if the reviewer liked it or disliked it. Random references to Tom Waits and a supposed composer called “brainbeats” (with no “h” I guess) that doesn’t seem to exist according to Google. Oh well. Whether they liked it or not, I’m just glad someone took the time to write about it.

TITD On Sale

It has been a couple weeks since my debut EP Tomorrow is the Destroyer was released by Ropeadope Records, and if you haven’t checked it out, please take a listen. The EP is exclusively digital, meaning you won’t be finding it at any record stores. Why, you ask? It’s the wave of the future. Printing CDs isn’t cheap, and the return on that investment is unpredictable, since such a large percentage of listeners download their music these days. Personally, I consider myself an audioiphile, and still prefer to buy hard copies (especially vinyl), but I do my fair share of downloading as well. On the plus side, the extra money saved by not printing CDs was able to go directly into the production of the music, hopefully providing a top-notch listening experience.

The EP should be available almost everywhere digital music is sold, including iTunes. For the highest quality files, I recommend purchasing directly from the Ropeadope Digital Store.

The Pass Colors EP/Free College Show

The other main project I’m involved in, The Pass, just had our EP Colors re-released by Sonablast Records. Pick it up on iTunes. The Pass will also be performing a free show at IU Southeast in New Albany, IN with Aquaventure:
