Final Countdown – Freemix Vol. 4
Just 3 more days until the release of Tomorrow is the Destroyer on Ropeadope Records! In celebration of the release, and in somewhat belated honor of Ropeadope’s 10th anniversary, the final piece in my freemix countdown is a mish-mash megamix constructed entirely from releases by Ropeadope artists over the past 10 years (close to 30, in fact). How well do you know your Ropeadope? There are samples from DJ Logic, Charlie Hunter, Medeski Martin and Wood, and The Word, just to name only a few.
As always, stream the track using the player on the right, or download it, along with the 3 previous weeks’ remixes, from the media page.
Freemix Volume 3
This week’s remix might be my personal favorite, possibly because I love the Frou Frou song “Let Go,” and I never get tired of listening to it. This remix of said song includes additional samples from Phish, Of Montreal, Fiona Apple, Fine Young Cannibals, and more. As always, you can listen online with the player on the right, or download the track for free from the media page.
Freemix Volume 2
We’re one week closer to the release of Tomorrow is the Destroyer, which means a new free remix. My mix of “Ms. Jackson” includes samples of Outkast (obviously!), Pink Floyd, and Nine Inch Nails to name a few. You can stream it by using the music player to the right, or go to the media page, where you can download the track to do with what you wish. There you’ll also still be able to download last week’s remix “Bring the Noise” in case you missed it. Peace y’all.
Brainbheats Freemix Countdown!
To celebrate the upcoming release of my debut digital EP on Ropeadope Records, I’m offering up a free set of remixes to download. There will be a new one each week, leading up to the release of Tomorrow is the Destroyer on February 15!
This week’s mix blends samples from Public Enemy, Radiohead, Incubus, Medeski Martin and Wood, the Jackson 5, and a whole lot more into a 6-minute banger.
Listen using the music player to the right or download it free right here!
